Ms. Ruppel founded CDR Legal in 2013 to advise and represent private individuals and companies throughout Germany. Initially, she mainly advised investors in claims cases; today, she covers the full range of the firm’s practice areas and particularly supports clients in cases of online banking fraud and disputes over compulsory shares. Her priority is clear, honest advice and cost-effective solutions that focus on the individual interests of her clients.

Experience in the Financial Sector – Sound Advice at First-Hand

Before founding CDR Legal, Ms. Ruppel worked as an in-house lawyer at a leading financial institution. There she advised medium-sized companies on legal issues and supported international business transactions. She then spent several years at a bank advising companies and funds on real estate financing. This extensive experience in finance and banking enables her to accurately assess her clients’ legal matters today.

International Education – Germany and USA

After completing her banking apprenticeship, Ms. Ruppel studied law with a focus on commercial and insolvency law. She obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the School of Law at the University of Connecticut and passed the New York Bar Exam, qualifying her for admission to the New York State Bar.

What costs will I incur?

The first consultation is free of charge. Before you incur any costs, we will inform you in advance so that you can decide for yourself how to proceed. In accordance with the German Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG), the costs depend on the value of your case. If this is unclear or if there is a special case, we will agree an hourly rate together.

Who pays the costs?

Our law firm’s free service also includes a request for cover from your legal expenses insurance. If this is negative, we will discuss the costs and risks with you step by step. We only charge you costs that we agreed on in advance. Especially if you do not have legal expenses insurance, we will handle your case very carefully.
